Ravenscraig Road Student Accommodation is an 867-bed facility designed to serve a high-volume residential environment with the durability and practicality that student living demands. From the start, the project required a sanitaryware partner who could deliver consistent value, strong contract support, reliable product availability, and responsive technical guidance throughout the build.

With Greenfields Plumbing appointed as the installer, the project followed a fast-build approach using lightweight Cemteq Q-block construction. In the ablution areas, a second-skin wall build-up was introduced, and a projection bolt system was used to fix the basins securely onto the blockwork. The basin design played an important role here – supporting a clean, repeatable fixing detail that enabled a seamless installation across multiple units.

Integration with the wider plumbing infrastructure was equally straightforward. The team reported no compatibility issues and no special requirements when connecting into the first-fix reticulation networks, resulting in a smooth installation process with minimal disruption and fewer site-level workarounds.
